SkinPen Precisions NEW Patented Micro-Needle Cartridge offers unsurpassed safety. The only 100% completely sealed cartridge on the market to prevent fluid intake. It has a single use lockout feature, so removing any possibility of cross-contamination. This unique cartridge design houses the reciprocating mechanism. This feature ensures precise depth settings from 0.25mm-2.5mm and completes 7000rpm so producing 98,000 micro-channels per minute. The whole unit is protected with a disposable Bio-Sleeve, this eliminates contamination during the treatment process.

How It Works
The whole process takes about 60 minutes. To begin, we numb the skin (a patch test is required). The SkinPen glides over the skin which has microscopic needles 0.25cm-2.5cm). These tiny needles comfortably penetrate into the dermis and cause a microtrauma on the skin. This microtrauma can cause tiny pinpricks of blood on the skin. Once this has happened we know the collagen and elastin production is kick-started.
This microtrauma tricks the skin into natural healing mode and floods the area with collagen and elastin. But not any type of collagen and elastin, this is type 1 collagen, the sacred words if you want more youthful skin. After we’ve microneedled, we clean the skin and apply a post-procedure product to aid the skin healing process.

Questions & Answers
What are the side effects and the healing process?
After the treatment, your skin will be a little pink and you will need to not handle it for the rest of that day. You can apply makeup the next day and your skin may become dry but by day 3 the skin is looking normal and by day 5 starting to glow. The real wow results take about 3-4 months to come through but it sure is worth the wait as your skin will look plump, smooth and healthy. Not only that, but the results can last years.
How many treatments will you need?
Results will be visible from just one treatment but for best results, we would recommend a course of 3 or 6 with 4 to 6 weeks between each treatment. This allows the skin to heal between sessions and prolongs the collagen stimulation from one treatment to the next.
What aftercare is required?
To get the best from the treatment you need to be applying Vitamin A to your skin for 3 months before treatment. This should also continue after treatment.We provide an aftercare serum which you apply morning and evening after the treatment until it is all used and continue with your regular homecare routine. If you are home rollering we would advise you to avoid this until the redness has subsided. You need to apply SPF daily after the first 48 hours and you should not expose your face to strong sunlight for the first 48 hours. We discuss your aftercare procedure at every treatment
